I roll my tongue and hide it inside the cave of my mouth.
I clip my nails and curl my toes.
I open my eyes wide in terror when a bee 🐝 buzzes;
but I plug my ears — what if it finds a place to hide in the tunnel of my ear?
I scrub the floor clean with my bristled hair;
and paint our walls with soot — each time my anger takes over.
I'm a demon of the wind, and a monster of your soul.
I will never sit still and never will I make you feel whole.
